Exclusive Interview with R P Singh - CEO, Seasia Infotech

In this exclusive interview, He shared his experiences in IT and several more things. Let’s check his success story and thoughts.

1. Tell Us about yourself how you start your career in IT Sector?

I started my career as an IT administrator. It is the broadest title that anyone can know of. However, ensuring the availability and integrity of the systems to what's intended.

I was or am a big computing geek and worked as a system engineer or IT administrator. In fact, I love sharing things that I've learned in this sector and have grown well to be in this position today.

Working for oneself is a fantastic feeling, but serving society makes a huge difference and that’s what has brought me here. To make it into the real world, I had to establish all of my goals and objectives after I understood how far behind the IT industry is. I wanted to give a completely new shape to my career, so I started rising on the ladder. So, the flame for establishing my business was lit back when I first discovered the sheer delight of making things using computing. I tend to turn ideas into actionable plans, which is how I came up with the idea for my firm. I came up with much more compact or portable solutions.

That's why I started here and staying on it; what draws me here is all my passion.

We can break some groundbreaking discoveries by staying that way, and I shall remain a part of it. I continued in the IT sector, and now I am here.

2. Tell us in brief about your company and the leadership.

Seasia group of Companies™ is a global pioneer in integrating cutting-edge technology into obsolete business methods.

Our solutions allow companies to focus on developing powerful business concepts and forging stronger connections helping you expand your business faster in the digital world. Moreover, our experience provides an excellent bunch of services in their respective specialization across many sectors.

In the round table of Seasia Group of companies™, we have a team of CEOs, CMOs, and CTOs of all our entities. Our entities are Seasia Infotech, Woosper Infotech, Bugraptors, Cerebrum Infotech, Moogle, UI/UX Den.

Our simple mantra is to carry out our leadership is not to dwell on the past but to think, plan, and act for future possibilities. We don't leave even a single minute for nostalgia and irrelevant details.

3. What is your outlook for 2021?

It is certain that we will get to see the post-pandemic situation very soon. The good news is already flowing around. We learned from our past experiences that anything could become remote where we do not need to have the prime infrastructure. This entire pandemic situation proves that anybody in business requires a strong, robust, agile digital infrastructure.

Now, what a digital infrastructure need is high-end devices, cloud security. You may have a good process with you, but without any planning, your resources will get confused in certain things. It is better not to welcome a gap between the higher authority and the lower authority. The differences can be viewed through outcomes because the process is not defined.

That's why we need refinement in the process. This way output related issues can be resolved with the Defined process.

Our outlook for 2021 will be,

Digital transformation

Strong digital infrastructure and

Defined and scalable processes

Remote working culture is something that we must ponder. It is important to give open environments to the employees. With time, we can have quality family time while managing the happiness index of our employees. Through this, we can get the best out of everything.

These are imperative in 2021 and further.

4. How do you assess the role of research agencies like Top app Firms in bridging the gap between clients and service providers?

Well, research agencies like TopappFirms are a must. All companies prefer to invest time and money in the primary data rather than gathering secondary or tertiary data. With the help of such research agencies, we have easy access to primary data through which we can know what our target audience requires, what are their pain areas and what sort of services and budgets are there. Therefore, we can curate the solutions for them which match their budgets and solve their problem.

Therefore, primary data consists of this level of importance and the research agencies like Topappfirms have a huge role to play.

5. Any particular technology or industry you would be targeting? How do you plan to prepare your workforce for the upcoming technology upgrade?

Being a CMMi level 5 company, we aim to target all possibilities, be it technology or industry. Looking at the current scenario, global sectors vary. Therefore, it is tough to say which industry we are targeting at which location.

I always focus on my employees' learning which is constant. We are ready because our team is doing the certifications well, attending relevant seminars to know what challenges we might face in the future. So, following this breadcrumb, we think that we are ready, and we will be ready if any changes are required any further.

6. What all services do you think you would add to your offerings in 2021?

The trend is gravitating a lot towards IoT. It is already there in our list, but our primary focus will remain IoT.

Now, if you ask why IoT?

Due to this pandemic, we entered a specific era, accelerated towards a destined service planned for 2025 or further, but it arrived soon. Nobody was this much focusing on the remote culture as it is today. Everybody wants to spend their time with their families but wants to involve in businesses too. Now, small-scale companies or enterprise-level businesses are also emerging to get digitized. For example, now, a restaurant also wants its booking app. Even businesses are not relying on the partner platforms; they don't like to share their profit margins in any case. Now, these businesses are either in search of hyper-localized solutions. But, what if we provide the specific application that empowers enterprises to introduce the community software? It can do wonders for such small-scale businesses.

It is not just limited to a single industry; it has a broad role in the healthcare sector too. The deployment of IoT in the healthcare industry has been more promising than in the past decade, especially in the wake of the 2020 pandemic. Digital health solutions have been observed to be in high demand for COVID-19-related healthcare, including digital diagnostics, online health consultations, remote monitoring, robotic requests.

Now, everything is data-oriented. So, Data Analytics is in our next offering. It can be just data or big data. To retrieve data, we absolutely need algorithms, i.e., ML-based. So, our third primary focus is on AI/ML.

We have already started working on them. Bu the end of the year, we might come up with solid solutions that are not just targeting a simple industry or a technology but the entire ecosystem, i.e., converting it digitally.

7. What are the challenges you see in the outsourcing industry, and how much you're prepared to face those challenges?

For this new gold rush, challenges are there

The black box of the costs and margins.

If we are able to create Perfect competition in this entire outsourcing industry, we can serve our clients in a better way according to their needs and budgets, in turn giving value to their end-users. In the end, value to the user is the ultimate goal. So, with the help of this perfect competitive environment, we can deliver it actually. This is the level of our preparation.

Face these sorts of challenges to create a perfect competition environment to deliver the highest value to the end-users. This is because it is the only thing that our client focuses on and we want to help them in achieving their targets or visions.

8. How helpful are the Web and mobile apps developed by your team for enhancing your clients' business?

These are indeed helpful.

We have built up dedicated Web and mobile app development projects for small-scale industries to large-scale industries. In fact, we have build-up for the government entities too.

Insights at our group help to distill and fertilize into a richer understanding of the business requirements. The latest and robust technology of the online ordering system - CereKart helps to bind in excellent business results with a value add to the clients.

9. What, according to you, are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

Constant communication is the key to attain client satisfaction. Now, if you ask why?

When you have open communication with clients, you actually understand what he requires and what he is looking for. This is the only way with which you are capable of delivering the things. No matter what! If you are not delivering what he wants, a client's satisfaction is tough to achieve. Therefore, you need to have constant open communication and active listening to understand the clients' requirements.

10. Tell about your some successful project ?

HMS. One of the best projects we have delivered, and we are constantly working on it. By embedding the in-house technology with outsourced components, Seasia's HMS outlines the targeted innovation. Tying in the key benefits to the client, such as an automated management system, faster approvals, and more such utility, helps us keep the innovation real.

There is one huge insurance solution our team has created that helped one of our clients. Sorry, I cannot give you the name because of the NDA. The type of solution we delivered is a sort of insurance management system. We helped a chain of hospitals set up their entire non-medical activities, including the insurance processing unit.

Next is our BSA Drone

As people say, Drones are all the craze these days. It is fascinating to see how such a rough portrait of the inventive mindset has emerged through the BSA Drone Application, allowing the members to register, fly, and view.

11. How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for Web development?

The two major things, i.e., extensive market research and technology expertise through which we help our clients in choosing the right yet profitable and, of course, highly functional.

Seasia group has rolled out an On-demand delivery app, HAVA-Compliant Centralized Voter Registration System (U.S.), and many more such products. All this reflects the deep wisdom of technology management, including the adoption of new technology trends which require market research. As we are working in a competitive but highly regulative ecosystem, we will continue to balance and embed the technology expertise and extensive market research through which we help our clients choose the right yet profitable platform.

12. What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021 after COVID 19?

We never had any price range from the start as it depends on what sort of feature a client needs. We are benefitting from combining our forces on innovation and technology to bring diverse skills together and deliver differentiated value to our clients.

13. Please describe the operational structure of your company- from the moment a client walks into the product deployment.

Since we follow the agile methodology, when anyone reaches our salesperson through an offline campaign or online, we give them a proposal, a price quotation, or the project.

Once the project is in, we talk about the wireframing, its features, and how we will attain those features, proper in-detailed software development life cycle. This would be shared with the client and iterates the entire process, such as what the developer will do, how the developer will create the feature, and parallelly how the UI/UX will look and then the testing glimpse.

In the end, we have UAT. Once the pre-deployment is ready, and before the release, we do an extensive UAT process. Once our UAT team passes it, only then we give it to the client.

14. After service is a necessary part of development. How do you provide customer support to your client?

We do have a dedicated team regarding it that would be having the entire documentation of all the clients and serve accordingly. So, whenever our client needs 24*7 support till three months of the initial release, we deliver that free of cost. After this, it depends upon the initial deals or cracks.

So, yes, without any doubt, our dedicated team is always there so that we never miss any of our clients after services. Our customer support is fully equipped, and we have representatives from every department.

15. Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?

Every technology has its own pros and cons. Recommending something on the basis of nothing is not at all my style. Overall, the major thing is if you have a certain client base that needs Android software, you got to go with that specific one; somebody who has the majority of the audience in IOS goes with that. Native platforms also have their own perks, and at the same time, the hybrid also has its own. It entirely depends on the type of requirements or businesses that the business is catering to. Hence, the recommendation changes as per the need. So, I don't want to dive deep into the recommendation part. We always prefer to know the needs and the audience before giving any recommendations.
