Exclusive Interview with Shanky Gupta - CEO, Softuvo Solutions

1. Tell us about yourself how you start your career in IT Sector?

Being tech-savvy, I have always been inclined to explore the world of technologies. And, that is how I started my career in the IT sector. I started Softuvo to be the technology leader serving clients across the globe. We explored the field of emerging technologies like - Wearables, Bots Development, IoT Development, Ibeacon development, Hybrid Development, and more. We dealt with diverse client needs regularly and helped them achieve their business goals.

2. Tell us in brief about your company and the leadership.

Softuvo started with the very motive of assisting the clients on how IT can transform their company. We dwelled on the very concept of sharing the value of IT and fulfilling the requirements of clients across the globe, keeping quality as an integral part of our process. The seeds of Softuvo were sown with a strong belief in my potential, dedication, and zeal to work hard.

3. What is your outlook for 2021?

My growth path is much focused on expanding in the technological world with expertise in the fields of AI, Data Science, ML, Wearable, iBeacon technology, and much more. The backbone of Softuvo has always been its client, so we plan to retain our existing customers with our services but also allure more clients.

7. What are the challenges you see in the outsourcing industry and how much are you prepared to face those challenges?

Well, there are many challenges in the outsourcing industry. Outsourcing is a cost- efficient strategy that helps the clients get work done at a reasonable price. As an IT outsourcing company, we meet clients with different sets of business requirements regularly. Clients expect us to provide tailored services at cost-efficient rates and we look forward to serving them with the best. From understanding the client’s requirements to allocating the right resources for the job, Softuvo stays uptight to handle all the challenges of the outsourcing industry.

8. How helpful are the Web and mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

9. What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

The number one rule to attain client satisfaction is to make them your priority. Softuvo always keeps client satisfaction as the priority. 11. How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for Web development?

 The world of web development welcomes several sets of platforms, tools, and frameworks. Once we analyze the client’s business requirements, we guide them with the right platforms needed to achieve the desired results. I believe in the bigger picture and help my clients achieve the same while making the right yet profitable deal.

12. What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021 after COVID 19?

Well, the price range in the year 2021 for projects goes a minimum of $5000 and a maximum of $15000.

13. Please describe the operational structure of your company- from the moment a client walks in, to the product deployment.

Once the client gets in touch with our team, we guide them by contemplating their needs. The project manager takes responsibility for the client as well as coordinating with the teams. We follow an agile methodology where the project managers and project coordinators take on the regular scrum meetings. The managers ensure the proper delegation of tasks and responsibilities within the team and regularly coordinate to ensure the greatest levels of productivity. Once the product is developed the testing and quality assurance team digs in to find the loopholes. And, after the successful product deployment, the support team ensures all the post support and maintenance services to the client.

14. After service is a necessary part of development. How do you provide customer support to your client?

Of course, after-service is a vital part of development. Once we successfully deliver the project to the clients, we provide support and maintenance services to our clients. This includes - on-call support, system upgrades, regular checks, and more.

15. Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?

Well, it’s a hard choice! Android or iOS are both different platforms with different integrations. The native apps are designed specifically for each smart form platform. In this case, you need to create two duplicate versions of the app written in two different programming languages. The hybrid apps, however, need a single common database that can run on both iOS and Android. So, the choice of platforms completely depends on the project’s scope and clients’ expectations. Once we analyze the details, one can move on to find the right platform.
